The Braids Blanket

Our Braided Twill blankets are woven with two colors of yarns which are interlaced in the fabric in a way that adds unexpected dimension and depth to a fabric with an otherwise simple visual field. The weave structure is called “braided” because it gives the illusion that the fabric is created out of strips of fabric woven together. It also results in a fabric in which one of the yarn colors is predominant on one side and the other color predominant on the other side.

The same properties that give the blanket it’s subtle beauty are responsible for a supple drape and an unexpected texture that is both pleasing to the hand and very soft against the skin.
